Assessment of flange fitting & size of a breast pump by lactation consultant as flange size is very important in breast pumping journey as this may make or break moms breast milk supply. Nipple would be measured and mom would be able to try few flange sizes to check which gives her the best comfort and fit. Can be done by pregnant or breastfeeding mother. Pregnant moms may not use the breastpump yet to avoid any nipple stimulation which may trigger contraction hence measurements will be done to get the right fit.
